elevated ERCwp Obituary
elevated ERCwp It is with great sadness and heartbreak that we announce the sudden passing of our mother, Jane Stolte on Saturday October 27, 2018 at Toronto, ON.
elevated ERCwp Jane leaves behind her grown children: Michael (Nicolina), Ann (Ron), Mark (Joanne), Brian, & Kevin (Maria), along with her grandchildren: Paul, Christine, Christopher, Stephanie, Melissa, Matthew, Meghan, Hailey, Claudia, Brendan, Bradley & Christian and great-grandchildren; Brooke-lyn, Emmanuel, Sophia & Matteo who are devastated at losing a truly amazing matriarch we were so blessed with.
elevated ERCwp The daughter of John Frederick Feeney and Mary Etta Feeney (nee Tull), Jane grew up in London, Ontario with a love for family, baseball, hockey and her dogs. On a 1959 visit to Toronto for a Grey Cup weekend, she met Paul Francis Stolte (d.1994) and fell in love. Being an only child, she was determined to have a large family and was a completely dedicated and loving mother to her five children, and any neighbourhood kid that happened to come by she made feel welcome and safe. Always the life of the party, Jane had a knack for remembering names and details most would forget. This is because she cared.
elevated ERCwp Our sincere gratitude extends to all of the doctors, nurses, EMS and hospital staff at MacKenzie Health and Toronto Western Hospital and for their warm, kind, empathetic, genuine loving care & concern for our mother.
elevated ERCwp In lieu of flowers if you wish, donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada.

I was shocked this morning when Bill called to tell me your Mom had died. I have great memories of your Mom growing up on Dallington. Living next door to you. We sure had some good times. She was a great lady! Praying for you and your families.
I was one of those neighborhood kids that Mrs. Stolte (Jane) always went out of her way to make sure I was welcome and fed! Her homemade burgers were legendary and the controlled chaos at the dinner table, simply put – a whole lot of fun! The Stolte family home was the main hub of Dallington Drive because of Mrs Stolte and the lifelong memories, we will all treasure forever! I know that I was Mrs. Stolte’s favourite neighbourhood kid, but I guess every kid on the block felt the same way. A truly one of a kind amazing lady that will be missed and loved forever! Rest In Peace Jane.
To Jane’s Family: We were shocked and saddened to hear that Jane had passed away. Jane had been a long time Friend from our days at St. Timothy’s Parish. Unfortunately we cannot be at the Visitation or the Funeral, but you will be in our Thoughts & Prayers. R.I.P. Jane Bill & Pat Poole, Toronto
My mom Gail Kelly was friends with your mom from St. Timothy ‘s parish. My mom died a few years ago. Jane would visit and call my mom on the phone . They always had lots of laughs. I loved that your mom called mine and would come visit. It was some of my moms happiest moments. After my mom died Jane would always call on moms birthday to let me know she didn’t forget. Your mom was a great lady full of compassion and laughs . My deep felt sympathy goes out to your whole family At such a hard time. Condolences
I, too was one of the neighborhood kids that grew up in the Stolte household. I have so many memories playing in the basement with Brian and Kevin, or in the backyard playing red light, green light or many other outdoor games. The one constant was Mrs. Stolte, running a tight ship, keeping all of us kids under control. A great lady, who will be dearly missed by so many people, far and wide. Her spaghetti sauce was one I still remember. My condolences to all of her family.
To Jane’s family,
I only met Jane recently by phone as I was gathering information for a family tree. I had hoped to met Jane in person as she was so pleasant and helpful and her extended family here in London spoke so highly of her, alas that can’t now be.
My most sincere sympathies to all of you.
Mike, Ann, Mark, Brian ,Kevin and familes,
Saddened to hear of the passing of your Mom. She was a great lady with such an upbeat personality. Will always remember her as one of the voices of Dallington Drive!
My thoughts are with all of you during this difficult time.
