To Rose and family so shocked to her of Joe’s very untimely passing i will very much miss talking to him whenever we brought our vehicles in to be serviced. he was not just our mechanic i thought of him more as of friend and piasan. he always asked how Filomena and the kids were doing, and me the same. Dear family :
When we received the letter from Joe saying that he had retired after 37 years , we were happy for him and his wife. Going into Bridal wood on Thursday morning and being told of the sudden passing of Joe my heart broke.
Wolfgang and I have had the pleasure of getting to know Joe, spending time talking to him about various vacations. Joe saw our 2 daughters grow , get married and meeting our grandchildren. Our grandson loved going and watching the cars being worked on.
Joe’s eyes would light up and a big smile would appear when I would ask how the family was and the grandchildren were.
Over the years I felt that we were friends and it was nice to have a friendship .
My heart broken for you all. Bridal wood will not be the same !!

We were shocked and saddened to hear that Joe had passed away so soon after a well-deserved retirement. Few people on this Earth were as kind and generous and wonderful as Joe was. He deserved to have enjoyed much more time in retirement than he got. He was a gem and will be truly missed. Our condolences to his family at this saddest of times.
I just heard about Joe’s passing. It’s been years since I had seen him but the news made me cry. He was a wonderful landlord during my time in Canada and was always so kind to us. He showed us how to replace a headlight on our car once, just to be kind since he was there and saw us struggling. He was just such a nice guy. It was always a pleasure to see him and his warm smile. I am so sorry to hear of his passing and my prayers go out to his lovely family.
