Ryszard Remplakowski, loving husband, doting father and beloved grandfather, died peacefully on May 1st, 2019 in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. Ryszard was born in 1939 in Ceków, Poland; he was raised in Poland along with his two younger brothers Roman (deceased) and Janusz. In 1988, he made the brave decision to trek across the ocean to come to Canada to start a new life with his wife and children.  

elevated vQiiq Ryszard was warm-hearted and always had a smile on his face. He was a romantic and a big dreamer too. He enjoyed playing the lottery and liked to dream about what he would buy for his family, children and grandchildren if he won the big jackpot. Above all, he was a family man who doted on his wife, daughters and grandchildren. There isn’t a picture of Ryszard that shows him without a smile on his face and a grandchild in his arms. He enjoyed baking cakes and pastries for his family. A visit to grandpa’s house always meant some delicious treats were in store. He was also an avid fisherman that enjoyed going to the cottage and loved his boat that he named after his wife, Janina.

elevated vQiiq His passing has left a hole in our hearts. Ryszard is survived by his wife of 56 years Janina, his daughters and their spouses, Dorota & Andrzej Skiba, Maggie & Gordon Farlie and Barbara & Radek Tchorowski, and his grandkids Magdalena, Monika, Kevin, Anna, Veronica and Robert. His memory will live on in our hearts forever.
