No words can describe how sorry I was when I hard of Ed’s sudden illness and passing. Someone so special can never be forgotten!
My heartfelt condolences Ina. Ed was truly a man for others. I will always remember him as the humble, intelligent, loving person he was. Though many years ago now, Ed (and Rob) taught me everything I know about cars, which is evidence of the patience he truly had;)
I also remember watching the love and respect you both shared with each other and believed you set an example for others.
To you, Victoria and Thomas, please know that my family’s prayers and love are with you through this difficult period, and always.
Dear Ina ,Thomas ,Victoria and extended family(s) ,
I knew Ed from my years of working with him at OPG and can honestly say he was the consummate gentleman in all of our interactions and he represented your family at the highest standard of personal courtesy and professionalism .
He will be missed .
My Dear Ina, Thomas and Victoria,
I am one of many friends that Ed made in his lifetime and whose life he enriched with his infectious personality and spirit.
His deep love and pride for his Ina, Thomas and Victoria was something that I heard way before I had the pleasure of meeting you. When I did meet you, I felt the love that you had for each other and it made me happy to see what a close-knit family you are.
Ed was the epitome of selflessness and service to others. I witnessed this as we worked together on the Dom Lipa Board. He had a boundless energy to maintain and improve the facility, which helped preserve the lives and well-being of Dom Lipa’s residents and staff. He will be sorely missed by everyone there.
I hope that the comfort and strength that you are surrounded by from your family and friends continues to nurture you in the days ahead.
With sympathy and love,
Sonya & Wayne

Deepest sympathies, I worked with Eddie at OPG during the retube of the reactors in the 1980’s. We always share happy greetings with each other daily. Eddie was a special person that cared for others, helped everyone and mentored his fellow workers. He will have a special place heaven with other remarkable people. I feel honoured to have known and worked with him. Rest in peace.
Ed, after I walk the dog tonight, I’m having a Scotch for the both of us… I mean you, not the dog 😉
Goodbye, Farewell, and Amen
Roy
It is with a heavy heart that I send my deepest condolences. Ed was very much respected as both a employee and co-worker at Pickering NGS and I am pleased to say he was a good friend to many.
Ed always came to work with one goal- to do the job to the best of his abilities. I will miss Ed, but will also remember him fondly as a man with great stature and convictions.
