elevated UgtWu Jim had a strong belief in that nothing that is important and meaningful in life came easy and that a strong work ethic was the catalyst to success. He practiced and believed that giving something back to life was critical and that Family ties were extremely important to obtain the full benefits of life. He was a great believer in living a life that mattered in every act of integrity, compassion, courage or sacrifice and encouraged others to emulate this process. He was active in sports for many years and latterly spent more time playing golf as a Member of the Bayview club in Toronto, the Riverbend club in London and the Plantation club in Florida.
elevated UgtWu Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society in Jim’s honour.
Jim’s motto in life was to always put family first and to be the best you can at all things!
I have fond memories playing golf or snooker with Jim at RiverBend. Although we did not know him or Anne Marie well at the time while playing at Plantation he spotted us from his backyard and rather than just wave I vividly remember Jim rushing out to greet us in our only visit to the community. What a warm and wonderful welcome! An absolutely perfect reflection of the person that Jim was.
Our sincere thoughts and condolences to Anne Marie and the family.
Dear Jim, Claudine, Jessica, James and Jordan:
Our deepest condolences for the loss of Jim’s father, Claudine’s father-in-law, and for Jessica, James and Jordan’s beloved grandfather.
From all the stories we’ve heard about Jim’s Dad, he deeply loved his children and grandchildren. Indeed, you have all been blessed by his deep love and leadership.
With all our love – Lori, John, Olivia and Rudy
