elevated nWqQJ Obituary
elevated nWqQJ Patsy McKenna passed away peacefully in her 100th year on January 31, 2020. She
was born December 4, 1920 in Bouf, Macedonia and came to Canada with her family in
1921. She was predeceased by the love of her life, Howard. Beloved mother of Robert
(late Bernadette) and Judy Boult (Jim). Cherished grandmother of Christine (Andrew),
Andrea (Richard), Ruth, Katharine and Adam. Loving great-grandmother of Emma,
Cara, Aidan, Reigan, Marcus, Cameron and Spencer.
Mom was a kind and generous woman who was fiercely independent. She loved to
laugh and have fun. She and her beloved Howard enjoyed taking cruises, heading to
Vegas to hit the gambling tables, and hosting family and friends. She made friends
wherever she went and loved to talk.
We are grateful to the wonderful and caring staff at Langstaff Care Community. We also
appreciate the professional and compassionate care she received from the staff at
Mackenzie Health Hospital.
In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice in her memory would be
appreciated.
We will miss Patsy dearly as she was one sweet Lady. Our sympathies to Bob , Christine, Andrea and their families. Patsy was a young bride when Howard was in the RCAF stationed in Gander Nfld . during WWII. Patsy had a wonderful life and had just had 99 celebrated her 99 th Birthday. She was an absolute Blue Jay fan and a character. She will be missed as the Matriarch of the Mc Kenna Family.

So sorry to hear about your Mom, Judy. She was an amazing woman. Always had a smile on her face and ready to laugh. Thinking about you and your family at this time. Love, Alison
My Aunt Patsy and Uncle “Hoddie” were my favourite relatives and my brothers and sister felt the same way. They were always fun, generous, and interesting people. And Auny Patsy could really cook and always was eager to feed us.
I learned to love playing cards from them. They would have been thrilled to know that our daughter went to UNLV and lives in Las Vegas. A favourite holiday destination for them.
Unfortunately, I am in Hawaii, my sister is in Texas, and our brother is in Nova Scotia so we are at our aunt’s service in spirit only.
Please let us know how Judy and Robert are.
With love and many loving memories,
Joanne McKenna Giancola
