We were saddened to hear of our cousin William “Bill” Culleton’s passing this week and would like to send our condolences to all the members of his extended family. Growing up and living in Newfoundland , we rarely had the chance to meet other Culleton cousins who are scattered throughout Upper Canada and the United States, Dermot being the only exception. Bill however, made the trip a number of times in recent years and indeed stayed with Noreen and Harold while in St. John’s. The family reunions in Toronto in 2011 and St. John’s in 2013 gave us more opportunity to experience Bill’s love for his family, his good nature and his keen sense of humour. He will be missed, rest in peace Bill.

Condolences to the Culleton family. Bill was a respected colleague and mentor. His east coast sense of humour brought smiles to many. He will be sadly missed,RIP.
Condolences to the family. I had the pleasure to work with Bill which was a privilege for me. Great sense of humor. An intelligent and capable Police Officer and a fine representative of the Toronto Police Service. RIP
I was very lucky to spend last weekend with Bill and his son, my dear friend Chris, and another dear friend Chris J. We laughed and hoped for more time. Bill, Mr.Culleton, had a great sense of humour, a great sense of taste in music, food and suits. He will be missed by many. A great man who lived his way. Inspirational in so many ways. I salute you sir.
To Owen, Cathy, Terri and Chris and your families from cousin Vic in Newfoundland. Cheryl and I were sad to hear of Bill’s passing. We had just recently received our annual Christmas card to Bill returned unopened and I had remarked to Cheryl that perhaps there might be something wrong. Little did we know.
Our thoughts are with you all at this time.
We had lots of fun years back on some of his visits back to the rock.
I enjoyed the 3 years working at the C. O. Bick College alongside Bill. Great humourist, competent officer of many talents. A n uplifting man to associate with.
Sincere condolences worked with Staff Culleton at
C. O. Bick Police College for a number of years. He was such a character.
I went to Police College with Bill in 1968, the class of R3. He was a great guy, also had the chance to work with him in the old 53 Division. He was a dedicated copper and his old army experience showed with his knowledge and expression of the Rules and Regulations of the Force, as a speaker he commanded respect and his ability to manage men was admired by all.
Rest in peace Bill .
