Dear John and Tammy,
Our deepest condolences on the passing of your father. He was a truly special and kind person, and he will be sorely missed. May he rest in peace. Hope the memories of his love and laughter bring you comfort. Please extend our sympathy to your mother and the rest of your family.
John: Just a quick note to say that I had the chance to tell my children the remarkable story of your father’s life – as you recounted it to me last week. They were rapt, and understandably so.
Best wishes from my family to yours.
