Sending my deepest condolences to Alyssia and family. Your dad loved you guys so much. Julie, watching you take care of your husband said everything about your relationship and how much you guys loved and care for one another. You guys were so lucky to have him and he is so proud of you all. My thoughts and prayers to your family.
Zio, I still cannot believe that you are no longer here with us. This message is being written far sooner than I ever could have imagined. You had such an immeasurable impact on those you loved and who loved you back. I am so grateful and blessed to have known you and to have called you zio! We’ve exchanged so many laughs, stories and special moments together. When everyone thought I was crazy for wanting to move to Halifax, NS for university, you were so excited and supportive of me! You were always so proud of everyone’s accomplishments and took such a genuine interest in asking me and others about our lives. Your faith was strong and you always had such a gentle way of sharing something of the faith with me when ever we spoke, for that I am so thankful. And for those conversations , they always seemed to occur when ever I needed them most! Thank you for being such an incredible husband to Zia Julie, you both made such a beautiful couple and shared a love and relationship that so many aspire to know and have. You helped raise two incredible and beautiful daughters, my cousins whom have hearts just as big as yours. I promise to love them forever, and to make sure they will never feel alone. I love you zio, you will be forever missed and never forgotten.
Rest In Peace now zio, until we meet again.
Love always,
Angela
For over 40 years i have trained with you and forced myself to laugh at such bad jokes that i had no choice to laugh.I enjoyed our jousting on the demise of the great les canadiens and shared Danny Gallivans favourite sayings .I will miss looking over at the bikes at Goodlife and seeing your face but know you will be watching over us.I miss you bro until we meet again.
You are in our thoughts and prayers. Deepest sympathies. I will always have fond memories of you Marvin.
Julie and family, our deepest condolences on the loss of your husband and father. May the beautiful memories you shared bring you comfort in difficult times. Thinking of you, and sending you prayers and strength.
Dearest Julie and family, my deepest sympathies on your loss. We are here for you. God Bless.
My heartfelt condolences to you. Marvin spoke so much about you – how lucky he was to have a wonderful wife and was so proud of his daughters. We talked a lot about family and sports and he always had encouraging and helpful advice. He was more than a work colleague he was a friend and I miss him dearly. He was taken way too young and he will never be forgotten. Rest in peace Marvin.
Dear Zio Marvin,
I will forever cherish our beautiful conversations on the faith and sacraments!
You had such a humble and deep love for God, and in these last moments on earth, you had shown perseverance and complete trust in God’s plan for you! I know with all my heart you are being embraced by the love of Jesus in Heaven.
I have such a found memory of when I went to the U.S.A to watch a Notre Dame football game, you were so excited for me, and gave me your baseball cap with the teams logo on it!! You messaged that weekend asking how my first college football game experience was, and were so happy for me!
You shared your authentic joy with everyone you met, and each persons heart was touched by your love! I’ll never forget visiting you one evening in the hospital. Before I entered the room, I stopped and I waited at the doorway as I watched You and Zia hold hands and lovingly gaze at each other, and I stood there from a distance and witnessed such a profound love you both shared in silence. A love that will last for eternity, a love that I hope to have one day too. Thank-you Zio, for the love you have for us all, especially the love you have for my wonderful and beautiful Zia and Cousins Alyssia and Alanna, and lil baby cousin on the way. I know you are watching down on us from Heaven. I love you Zio!!!!! You will always be in my heart and prayers!
A simple man Marvin, a man who when I had the pleasure of knowing in all his total beauty he transmitted so much serenity and love for his Julie. Unfortunately I have not had other opportunities to meet him but I know that his love has always been immense also for his wonderful daughters. An immense sea like the meaning of his name that was reflected in his eyes that I still remember so deep and so good. You fought your battle but every man then leaves life on earth. The difference, however, is how this life was lived and you loved and were loved very much by all those who were able to enjoy you. Your presence will be missing but the memory will remain indelible in our hearts. Rest in peace . Mirella, Luca and Lorenzo
Marvin was such a kind, gentle, sweet and loving man. You could tell that he absolutely adored his daughters and wife with all his heart. He is going to be dearly missed. Sending you love, Marvin.
With heartfelt sympathy to Julie and family on Marvin’s passing. May warm memories of Marvin uplift you at this time and the support of family and friends comfort you.
Marvin was a caring, special man. My prayers are with you Julie and your family to bring you peace, comfort, courage and strength to face the days ahead and to hold loving memories of Marvin forever in your hearts.
Julie and girls I am so sorry to hear of Marvins passing. What a shock!
It is many years since we were neighbours but I remember Marvins happy personality and love of his “girls”
Stay strong for each other, time eases but does not take away your pain. June Hirlehey. (Jim passed in 2016)
I can still hear his laugh. He came into my mind this morning for some reason. Julie, I hope you and the girls are doing as well as can be. He LOVED you all so much and was so proud of you all.
Marvin, keep smiling, laughing, enjoying life like you did.
xoxo
