elevated LNMOc Margaret Gatt who was loved by many, passed away on March 23rd, 2020 at the age of 90 with her family by her side at Scarborough General Hospital. Maggie is survived by her daughters Mary (Frank) & Josephine (Joe). Her grandchildren, Marianne (Paul), Margaret (Jamie), Lisa (Dan), Johnny (Sarah) and Jeannette. Her beautiful great grandchildren, Anthony, Daniella, Christian, Anna, Alyssa, Brooke, Kristen, Megan and Nikky.
elevated LNMOc Margaret was born on August 25th, 1929 in Malta and is one of sixteen children to the late Giuseppe and Giavanna. In 1949, Margaret married the late George Gatt and eventually settled in Toronto, Canada with her family. She worked for many years at The Hospital For Sick Children.
elevated LNMOc She will be remembered for her kind heart; famous homemade pastizzi; playing Bingo; trips to Centre Island every summer with her grandchildren; and for her wonderful family gatherings at “Nanna Meggie’s house” each Christmas. She will be missed beyond words.

Nobody in the world knows how deeply the loss of your Granny has affected you (Marianne). You and your family will have warm memories in your heart of your grand mother

The passing of your beloved grandmother leaves an awful suffering. However, the burden that grandmother was in, now she is in the best hands that you can think of which are God’s.
