elevated 83EuA October 13, 1928 ~ May 4, 2020
elevated 83EuA It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Joe Troiano.
He has now risen to join his special angel, granddaughter Christina and the family and friends who have passed before him.
His life and love will be forever remembered and missed by Grace, his loving wife of 66 years, daughters Donna (Ed), Rosanne (Dan), grandchildren Damian, Stephanie and Amanda and great grandchildren Jahziah and Justin. He leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews, family friends and loved ones to whom he will always be remembered as Uncle Joe.
elevated 83EuA Joe was born in Modugno, Italy, the youngest of six children. He emigrated to Canada on June 17 1948 and immediately embraced Canadian lifestyle, taking great pride in learning the language and customs of his new homeland.
elevated 83EuA He fulfilled an accomplished career of 35 years with the TTC which provided him with many happy memories.
elevated 83EuA Joe will be fondly remembered for his cheery sense of humor and sharp wit and mind, his commitment to physical fitness and healthy living, his kindness and quick willingness to help others and a devotion to family and God.
Although, his weakened heart slowed him down considerably over the last 6 months, his sense of humor still prevailed and he fought his battle in the same manner as he lived his life, with courage, dignity and honour.
A private funeral of immediate family will be held, with plans for a Celebration of Life to honour Joe, when gathering restrictions are lifted.
Any comments, memories or photos are welcome.
Forever in our hearts ❤
Our deep condolences to the family for your great loss.
May you be comforted by his loving memories as you grieve.
As we send our heartfelt condolences for our Uncle Joe, we will always remember what a fun-loving and easy going man he truly was. I , personally will always remember the little jokes he and I shared, which was always between us🤙🏼❤️, and the fun helping him build the shed in Innisfil !
Though we never had more time to spend together these last several months, but the memories and the laughter we shared over the many years will always stay in my heart.
With much love,
Renata and Dean Albonese Elise and Evan

Uncle Joe was my hero in Italy and when we came to Canada we shared sleeping accommodation which was a real thrill for me. During my first year in Canada he was my rock. He encouraged me which gave me the self confidence to adjust and succeed in my new home in Canada. I will be forever grateful to him for being my loving uncle. I will miss him tremendously.

Our sincere condolences to Auntie Grace, Donna, Rosanne and to the rest of the family. Uncle Joe was always there to help my late Father, Ralph when he needed assistance.
