Georgia Grech

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved wife and mother, Georgia Grech on June 22, 2020. Born in Mosta, Malta to the late Lonza and John Fenech, she immigrated to Canada in 1967 and soon met Joseph, her beloved husband of 46 years. Together, they built a beautiful home and life, they laughed and celebrated and comforted one another. Georgia will be remembered for her kind heart, selfless nature and her innate ability to see the good in everyone. She is survived by daughter Caroline (Patrick), siblings Doris, Joseph and Maria and many nieces, nephews and friends in Canada and Malta. She is predeceased by siblings, Paul, Carmen, Tony, Giovanni and Felicia.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a private funeral mass and interment will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home and Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Southlake Foundation, designated to the Regional Cancer Program, are appreciated.
