elevated bUkWh It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dear father/nonno Ortenzio on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at the age of 85.
elevated bUkWh He will be deeply missed by his loving wife Cristina cherished twin boys Mike and Joe, daughter-in-laws Effie and Mary, loving grandchildren, Joseph, Daniel, Christina, Phillip, Eleni, Andrea, Nick, Julia and many nieces, nephews. Ortenzio reunites in heaven with his parents Michele and Lucia, his sister Margherita (Paolo) and brother Giuseppe (Angelina). He will be missed by his brother Francesco (Nicolina), his extended family and all his friends and neighbours.
elevated bUkWh Ortenzio was born in Guardiaregia, Italy on July 22, 1935. He immigrated to Canada in 1953 and lived his life surrounded by family and friends. He was at his happiest hosting many get togethers involving family, friends, food and his homemade wine. Ortenzio leaves his family with many blessings and cherished memories. He will always be remembered for his love of life and family. Rest in Peace Nonno Pops. You will live forever in our hearts.

Dear comare Cristina and family, we were so blessed to be a part of our dear compare Ortenzio’s life and will cherish all the beautiful memories we shared through the years. He was a very special person and we shall never forget him. May he rest in eternal peace.

We have so many happy memories of Zio Ortenzio. I always knew when he was on the phone because my grandmother would be laughing and that would only happened when he called her or if Zio Giuseppe called her. I remember the annual lunch at his house and the games he would play…so many good times. I remember how much fun he was and the amazing stories he would tell. And the homemade wine and sausages. The legacy of a life well lived is the happy memories that sustain us in our grief. Sending you all our love to you all. We’re going to miss him so much.
