elevated oUCs1 It is with deepest sadness that the family of John “Murray” Jellifo announce his passing on Thursday, September 17, 2020. Beloved husband of 54 years of the late Mary Jellifo (nee Harvey). Cherished father of Helen McGuire (Dave), Sheila Littlejohn (Bruce), John Jellifo, Maureen Charlebois (Stephan) and Martin Jellifo (Lara). Treasured grandpa of Brian (Carly), Sarah (Cody), Meagan (Jay), Melissa (Tyler), Stephen, Klayton, Jeff (Emily), Murray, Lindsay, Nicole and great-grandpa to Ella. Loving son of the late Joe and Julia Jellifo and brother of the late Florence Kaus, Edna Berger and Marietta Emory. Beloved Uncle to many wonderful nieces and nephews.
elevated oUCs1 Murray was born and raised in Victoria Harbour, Ontario and lived most of his adult life in Toronto, Richmond Hill and Nobleton. As an Electrician, Murray worked at the CP Rail for 35 years and led many electrical projects across the Province. He was a very proud father/grandfather and loved sports and was an advid hockey player, swimmer, hunter and fisherman. Murray and Mary and their loving family enjoyed many summers at Georgian Bay and getting Ice Cream at Picnic Island. Murray was a kind man and was loved by all who had the good fortune to meet him. He had a huge heart and would give you his shirt if you needed it. He loved telling stories and spending his weekends collecting treasures. A special thank you to Lakeside Retirement Home for being such a wonderful place for Murray. He made many friends and the staff made him feel loved. Earth has lost an amazing man but his gentle soul will live forever in Heaven. His kids and grandkids now have two Guardian Angels to watch over them.
elevated oUCs1 Thank you dad for being an amazing father and for making a positive difference in the lives of others; you will be forever missed!

We’re very sorry for your loss , a lot of great memories way too many to list here….
Sending love and prayers to you all during this difficult time. I can certainly see some if the wonderful qualities in you Sarah that I am sure came from your Grandfather. XOXO.
Murray was a kind and generous person who I looked up to my entire life. When we were moving to Australia, he gave me small brass bell (from his broad collection!) and told me to not forget about him; I have displayed where I see it everyday and think about him.
He leaves behind a big empty space, however I will forever cherish the memories I have.
Lovingly remembered from Todd & Valerie Cook

To the Jellifo family, my thoughts and prayers are with you all. Mr & Mrs Jellifo were always so caring , and such a wonderful couple. I always had so much respect for them. It was always nice to see them at gathers. I enjoyed listening to them tell stories. He’s with Mrs Jellifo now, and I bet his happy. You will be missed Mr Jellifo ❤❤
Jellifo family,
I will miss Murray’s sense of humor. We could have all learned about negotiating from him. I don’t believe he ever paid the asking price. He is probably asking for a better deal right now.
Love Uncle Frank
I have so many memories of Murray – many of them involve him and my dad Joe Harvey spending ages on the phone, particularly if Toronto and Montreal we’re playing hockey – both very keen on their favourite team.
