elevated hi7vJ Mercedes L. Grande, aged 95 passed away peacefully in the presence of her two daughters on Sunday, September 27th and was reunited with her late husband Augustin Grande on the anniversary of their wedding date. This selfless soul raised six children including Edwardo who was awaiting her arrival in heaven. She is survived by her remaining children Ernesto, Armando, Antonio, Natividad and Carmencita along with an extended family tree that will carry forward her loving personality, endless kindness and unwavering faith in God in her memory. In total, our unforgettable Lola will live on in the hearts and minds of 25 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren and 9 great, great grandchildren. Somehow, she made each and every one of her ‘kids’ feel special, safe and loved whether it be at home in the Philippines or in Canada where she and Augustin immigrated to in the 1970’s to build a new life based off of hard work and faith in God.
