Dearest Carl, your”always happy face”, is what we will fondly remember…I recall that “always happy face” from the time we met you and Brenda more than 50 years ago, and more recently, when we saw you this summer, not knowing it would be the last time.
In spite of your illness, that always happy face never dimmed as you were cared for by your very devoted family.
Brenda and Carrie, your devotion and care, has been unstinting.
Rest in peace our dear friend!
Love, Eulan and Rusty.

Rest in peace Carl. Your old track & field team mate.
Mitch.
Truly devastating news. But I will always remember “Uncle Carly’s” smile and kindness. He had a way of putting you at ease. What a treat it was to see him with his truest, oldest friends from the yard. So glad I got to spend time with him two years ago at a time when he, Brenda and Carrie showed my family much needed love and support. Thank you for then, and thank you for sharing him with us all these years.
God has called home another one of his angels, may dear Carl rest in peace. My deepest condolences to you Brenda and your daughter Carrie.
Dear Carrie & Mrs Hollness,
My deepest condolences. May he rest in peace.
Dear Brenda and Carrie
I pray the Lord will give you both strength to deal with the loss of a loving husband and father.
Love is a bond that death cannot part.
May you both find strength in the love you share with family and faithful friends.
I will say a prayer for this kind boy with the warm smile I knew in school. The photographs show the same spirit of a lovely man, with the same smile, and the love of his family and friends. May your memories of the life you shared bring you comfort. Rest well Carl, rest well.
