elevated cUStn The ultimate gentleman has passed away, Hugo von Schober. Always with the charm, charisma and compassion, Hugo lived life utilizing these strengths to everything he put his mind to and towards everyone he most deeply loved. Hugo invested everything always with passion and utmost strength always thinking of the future, his legacy, his family.
elevated cUStn Hugo von Schober was a man of his own. A former military man who has survived multiple wars from WWII and also served with the Foreign Legion in the Vietnam war. Hugo’s military lineage and history is deeply woven to his great uncle Johann Schober, former Chancellor of Austria, and founding president of Interpol . Hugo passed down many memories of his parents (Hugo von Schober the original and Maria nee Tratzmueller), to his children and grandchildren.
elevated cUStn Hugo was a proud Canadian and he ensured that the same pride, happiness and peace were instilled to his wife’s family and all his friends, from his support and assistance. Hugo once referred to as “Hugh” by the actor, Paul Newman, doubled or was the stunt-man for the actor himself, in the movie “Somebody Up there Likes Me”. The entrepreneur/business man, the former chef, boxer / life-fighter, humourist, the advisor and confident, our beloved Opa and father, and friend forever in hearts. Thank you (Dankeschon) for teaching us life’s greatest gift of a love and you are our true meaning ‘Edelweiss’.
