We both have been so blessed to have gotten to know yola the last few years. Her kind personality will always be remembered.
Many happy memories.
Very sorry to learn of Auntie Yola’s passing. I am left with many fond memories. At times my sister Marguerite and I would go to Auntie’s for lunch when she lived in the apartment on Lyons Court and she would sometimes laugh and tell us she was making us a “Maggie and Jiggs” dinner! (and it was good). Then we always took a pleasant walk down memory lane.
Sincerest condolences to the Cornacchia family , love Vitta
Many fond memories of auntie Yola.
She was a person who was always smiling and happy to see her nieces
One fond memory is her taking us to the hot table at Dufferin and Glen park.
She loved that place.
She was like a shining star to us and the many people who knew her.
Condolences to her family

Sincere condolences. I met Yola through her dear friend Dorothy. We had some fun times together. When we visited at the retirement home she always said let’s go down now for the coffee and cookies which we all enjoyed very much. I will miss you Yola and the fun times we had together. Rest In Peace dear Yola.
Condolences and prayers to Yola’s family and friend Dorothy, upon your loss! I was so grateful to get to know Yola at Tops! I was on her call list and Yola would call and ask me how my week was going and encourage me! If I was at work she would ask is it was ok to talk and I would always say that her call was the best part of my day! Yola would give a little giggle and I would say I mean it! I would be so happy to hear her voice! I’ll never forget her kindness! I always thought of Yola as a beautiful Lady inside and out! May she rest in peace!
My condolences for Yola’s family and friends. During my stay in Canada as a medical student I met Lola by Dan and Mary. My first and only Halloween in Canada she invited me to have a Halloween diner with her, Dan, Mary and her family. Even it is more than 30 years ago, a real Canadian tradition for a dutch student, I really appreciated. I will never forget her kindness. May she rest in peace, Irene Kuipers, Amsterdam, the Netherlands
