John courageously fought his diabetes while plagued with pain. A kind, considerate, and bright, husband, father, professional, and extended family man.
Our condolences to Mary and the family.
Love, Tim and Claire
Deepest sympathy to you, Mary and to all your family, to Eleanor (Al) and your family, and to Helen (Ed) and your family on John’s passing. John was a good man who loved his family, his culture, and his Church. The last few years have not been easy ones for any of you, nor for John, but you persevered. Remember the good times! This does help fill the big hole in your hearts.
Rest in peace, John.
Sincerely, Joe.

My deepest sympathy and prayers are with Mary and the family & Eleanor & Al & family. The Lord called John home on the feast of His Resurrection! John touched the lives of many people. He touched my life ; he was my first hockey coach when I was in grade 5. He encouraged me to stay on the CYO team for Assumption Parish with my limited skating skills. John was truly a mentor of Gospel values. His deep faith inspired me that I had asked John to be my confirmation sponsor. He was a person who put his faith into action. May John share eternal Joy & Peace with the Lord. With gratitude to John.
Jim and family,
I know words can’t take away the hurt you’re feeling, but I want you to know how much I care. Sending you love and strength in this time of loss.
Catherine, Cian, Quinlan, Tadhgan and family, my deepest condolences for your recent loss. May you find strength, love and support at this time from friends and family. My prayers are with you all.

John, the Stephens and Godin families were as close as relatives to us. A better man we will all be hard pressed to find. He was the best lawyer that I have known and I have mentioned it to him several times in the past. Sincere condolences to all of us left behind to continue the journey of our salvation. With God’s help you have gained your reward in heaven, John. We will all meet again.

We are so very sorry that John passed away. I watched the service which was lovey and remember many good memories and special occasions and John was always smiling! Such a good man. We are lucky to have known him.
The great memories and the blessing of friends will sustain you each day and especially to Mary and Cathereine, Quin, Cian and Tadhgan, we send love, hugs and prayers. The service was lovely and glad we could participate in this way with covid still raging. Love to you all.
