My aunt was one of the kindest, most beautiful people. Having always been excited to go to her house when I was a child to not only play with their wonderful jack russels named Ruby and Snapper, she was also always smiling so it made me excited to be around her. She always spoiled everyone with amazing food and encouragement and signs of affection that you would always feel sad at the end of the day when it was time to make the trek home.
I will always remember her smile and her presence will always be felt upon this earth through the amazing children she’s raised and the lives who were fortunate enough to have had her presence in it.
Survived by her two children, and her amazing husband, my uncle, who is also a wonderful human and such a playful soul that let me have some unorthodox fun with him at family functions (like taking pictures of him taking pictures of everyone else 🙂 ) I will always remember how sweet this entire family is.
My last amazing memory of Auntie Lucy will have been the tears in her eyes and the loving hug she gave me as my mother had recently joined the angels up above. She told me she loved me, and all I wanted to do was say it back and thank her .. she is now up above with my mother and they both will be looking over our families, such as the strong Italian women they were.
We all love you Auntie Lucy. Thank you for touching our lives.

Lucy … a great lady she was always willing do help everyone, always cheerful. Very creative, friendly and supportive. As soon as you met her you, you would love her. I got lucky when she married my brother Mike. She was always volunteering for something. She became president of the horticultural society in her area, even though she didn’t like to do the gardening, that’s dedication. Together they had Two wonderful children Peter and Michelle. There are too many memories and stories for this space so Lucy.. keep you eyes open for My Marlene… We all love you… and I’m sure Marlene will be waiting for you. Love you.. Joe

So long for now my dear friend. You were always there for me in good times and bad. Even though we didn’t see each other often, you were only a phone call away. Your genuine love of life, family and friends was unconditional. Always a smile on your face that could chase away anything that wasn’t positive. I truly believe in my heart that you were an angel on earth. Now you will forever be a guardian angel to your family who loved you so deeply.
I want you to know you can Rest In Peace because I will be there for Mike, Michelle, Peter and Pauline whenever they need me.
You left us because your time on earth was done. We will be together again one day. Till then rest in God’s arms. Peace be with you.
I will love you forever and always, remembering our time together. You hold a special place in my heart. That brings me great comfort.

Lucy…oh my how your soul lit up the world.
Fond memories of a surprise meeting with you, Peter, Pauline, Dom and Jim in St Marguarites Square in Venice Italy. How we laughed! Then of course we sat to have wine and something to nibble on as we shared our stories. Memories of that day will live on.
We send our condolences to your family and we will continue to keep them in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Dear Lucy, Mike, Michelle and Peter,
Over the years we have shared many happy times, like our card get togethers when our children were young and were at school together, pigeon club events with Mike, and family times like baby showers, first communion celebrations, and birthday parties. Garden Club gatherings that you so enjoyed. Thank you so much for letting me talk you into being president of our club. I knew you could do it, and you did, excellently. We will never forget your kind, happy, and giving nature.
God bless you in the Lilac Dell in heaven. ❤️xoxo

My deepest condolences to the entire family. Heaven has gained another Angel. I grew up with Lucy on St. Clarence Ave. Such a happy, positive role model with the kindest heart. We would play school and she would always be the teacher. She was nuturing , kind and gentle. We loved when our parents got together on Saturday nights so that we could stay up , play house and listen to stories. She would take us to Campbell park for picnics and to splash in the pool on hot summer days. When I think of Lucy, the memories are warming and pure. Rest in Peace to a special childhood friend. My memories of you will last a lifetime.
Mike,Michelle,Peter and Jen

Lucy – I will miss you
It was with sadness I learned of the passing of Lucy. I had trouble wondering why the news of her passing affected me more than it seemed it should until I paused to remember her. I believe it was her sincere joy to be talking to you. She was genuinely friendly and you could tell it was heartfelt. Lucy wasn’t like many others I knew in high school. She was special because she always made you feel special. RIP my friend, sleep in God’s arms.
