elevated YHL6M “When I think of our Mom and Nonna what I remember most is how much she enjoyed the company of loved ones, whether it was a phone call from a relative or friend or a visit from her sons or grandchildren. When I reflect on her life, I appreciate the many struggles that she endured and admire her resolve and courage that she displayed throughout the difficult times and I cherish the love and devotion that she gave us all. The photo albums that she was always happy to share with us give us a glimpse of her life and, although the memories in the images will endure, they cannot truly capture what a wonderful woman she was.”

My sincerest condolences to all for the passing of Maria. My mother (Maria Martire Pavan) was a second cousin to Gaetano Giorno. I remember Maria vividly. She was a very caring and lively person. I had the opportunity years ago to spend some time with Maria and drove her to the cemetery to visit her beloved Gaetano several times. We had some wonderful conversations and I appreciated her views on life and living to the fullest. Maria truly gave you a sense of reality and strength. I am saddened by the news of her death but I know she will be happy along side her beloved. Keep her memory alive in your hearts through the years spent together and the nurturing she gave to all. May she Rest in Peace.
I am so sad of losing my good friend that I met in 2012. We spend many times together. Her courage and positive attitude was amazing. We laughed together and helped each other with chores. I was so happy to find her again when so moved to newmarket. The last day I saw her just after palm Sunday it was a joy. We laughed just like old times. I will miss her . Maria may you rest in peace and may perpetual light shine on you. My sincerely condolences to her 3 sons and family
