elevated RoGEI Just 11 days shy of her 90^th birthday, Irène passed away peacefully on November 27, 2021 at Fountain View Care Community. She was predeceased in October by her beloved husband, George, of 65 years. Family meant everything to Irène, and she was a caring and devoted mother to Debbie and a loving grandmother to George. She will be dearly missed. The family gathers strength in knowing she is now at peace with the love of her life. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Sunnybrook Foundation in Irène’s memory would be greatly appreciated.

elevated RoGEI The family will receive friends at the Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home 211 Langstaff Road East (west of Bayview Ave.) on Wednesday December 1, 2021 from 10:30am -12:00 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will take place within the funeral home in the Chapel of St. Joseph following the visitation at 12:00 pm.  The final rite of committal and interment will take place at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery (8361 Yonge Street Thornhill).
