elevated w1fW4 Mary Ann “Marcelle” Richea, of Toronto, Ontario, peacefully passed away in her sleep on November 30, 2021, at 104 years young with her family by her side (and a few of her many teddies).
elevated w1fW4 Marcelle was predeceased by her parents, John and May Carpenter along with her 3 siblings, as well as her beloved husband Al(bert), and her devoted daughter, Marina. She will be remembered by her sons Ronald (Marilyn), John (Susan), daughter Darlene (Anthony Collins), and son Paul (Tricia), along with her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family.
elevated w1fW4 She lived a long, full life, enjoying time with her family, vacations, picnics and road trips, knitting and reading, and lots of sports, most notably as a huge fan of the Toronto Blue Jays.
elevated w1fW4 A private service will be held in her honour. Donations to the compassionate organization, The Dorothy Ley Hospice – https://dlhospice.org, where Marcelle spent her final three months would be greatly appreciated.
