Antonio Loschiavo, age 89, passed away peacefully and with his family at his side, on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at Etobicoke General Hospital in Toronto, Ontario. He was born on June 2, 1932 in Vallelonga, Italy and was one of ten siblings. He immigrated to Canada where he met and married his wife, Giovanna. He was blessed with two daughters, Mariella and Domenica, and two grandsons, Michael and David. Antonio, known best as Tony by friends and family, was a passionate Maple Leafs fan who never missed watching a game. He also loved to travel, often taking trips with his family to Mexico and Las Vegas. In his last years, he enjoyed making new friends and living as part of a community at the Villa Da Vinci Retirement Residence in Woodbridge. Antonio is survived by his daughters, son-in-law, Danny, and his grandsons. Tony will live on in the memories and prayers of his loving family. He will be entombed at Holy Family Mausoleum beside his wife. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation http://www.heartandstroke.ca/ in his honour would be appreciated by the family in lieu of flowers.
