Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on June 7, 2022. Devoted husband of Otilia for 46 years. The very best father of Chloe and father-in-law of Daniel John. Proud Vô Tito of Jarett, and Nathan. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Lolita and Roger Gomes, Gigi and Manny Coelho, Victor da Silva and Ginette Robert. Loving brother-in-law of Alexandra and Joe Rocha, Emanuela and Juvenal Silva, Emanuel and Rini de Melo, and Sofia and Tiberio Machado. He will be dearly missed by his nieces, nephews and Godchildren. He will be fondly remembered by his closest friends.

Tito, I was there when you were born, I was there when you fell off the truck, we were together when you fell off the cliff with our donkey. We travelled together all over Europe. You came to my rescue when I was down and crying. You picked me up and we went for a bicycle ride. You played a trick on me by turning the canoe upside down and breathing air inside the canoe while I was looking for you at the bottom of the lake. I had lots of fun with you Baby Brother, specially in Sweden when we woke up at 3 AM thinking it was 3 PM. You always made me proud of you. I have missed you and I will always miss you! Rest in Peace!

We were great friends to the point of going to your house several times… your dear and late mother prepared us something to eat to compensate for the effort of all that uphill by bike!…
Then we never met again because in the meantime you went to Canada…
THe years passed… last year, your sister Gigi found me through Facebook and informed me that you were not doing very well… and throughout this year she informed me that the your health condition was getting worse… I encouraged her with the hope that she would get better, until she told me there was no hope and finally the fatal news!…
I was very sad for your tragedy and for your family that is suffering your departure.
I know what it’s like because I’ve already lost a brother at 54 years old…
Tito, I keep the good times we had in youth… I hope your Soul is in Peace…

I marveled at this man, who seemingly could work two jobs,and with only a coffee for breakfast and one meal, needed only 3 hours sleep a day.I came to know Tito at Toronto Water, Island Facility from 2005 until 2018 and we eventually worked side by side.When Tito was there I felt there was nothing we couldn’t get through.
Tito’s life burned brightly and I witnessed the glow whenever I was in his company, I will miss you my friend.My sympathies to his family.
