Uncle Mike was a very kind man with a great sense of humour. Yes, Leah I am better for having known him. My condolences to you all.
Dearest Uncle Mike,
Though little time I spent with you as a little girl, I will never forget your kindness and gentleness. You will forever be missed and remembered. Rest assured that my family and I will always be there for Tita Leng and your lovely daughters.
Love always,
Cheska
I am saddened by your passing kuya Mike, yet consoled by the thought that you are now resting in the bosom of our Heavenly Father.
If “death is a doorway to new and better life”, I know for sure that you are now freed from the ills and evils of this world.
Until we meet again. May perpetual light shine upon you and may you rest in peace.
With my most profound sympathy to both my nieces Leah and Caty over the passing of their dad whom all of our family members fondly referred to as Uncle Mike.
We will keep his memory alive as we think back to all those family picnics at Wilket Creek Park, Sibbald Point, we did every summer back in the day, the countless birthdays celebrated every winter, spring, summer and fall, the family Christmases, weddings, baptisms, and all other kinds of parties we have done over the many years.
The same most deep sense of sympathy goes to my big sister Linda whose grief over her loss is beyond measure and for to know that every member in our large family wishes her well and peace in her heart as she begins to heal. Time is a great healer.
Uncle Mike was a wonderful husband, a doting father and grandfather, a caring brother and a fun uncle to the many nieces and nephews and a good brother in-law to his numerous in-laws.
GOD SPEED, Uncle Mike.
We miss you already🥰🌹
Farewell Kuya Mike.
We shall miss you and for sure we shall never forget.
Thank you for the memories. You were always a real brothet. Your journey is now complete and we are comforted by the fact that you are now in a better place. Until we meet again..,
So long Mike!
Linda and family, our heartfelt condolences to you all. Although we have not seen each other in a very long time, I’ll always remember Mike for his kindness, gentle manners and beautiful smile. It was a real pleasure to have known you, Mike.
Goodbye and May you Rest In Peace!
Dear Uncle Mike,
My deepest sympathies and such a great loss for the whole family.
To Leah, Caty and Tita Darling we are all here for you.
I will always remember Uncle Mike for the great wisdom and conversations at all the family gatherings.
Most fondly for you helping me when you came to my house to teach me how to use a new technology known as the computer. You were patient and showed me how “easy” it was to use and learn.
I didn’t know that the last time I would see you before I moved to Vancouver would be the last. I know that you are finally resting in peace and that you lived a long and great life. You touched our lives in many way and we will never forget you Uncle Mike! You will be missed forever in our large family that you were deeply cherished in.
Until we meet again Uncle Mike….

Uncle Mike was a man of few words yet his gentle ways conveyed great character and kindness. It was both a privilege and a pleasure knowing him. He was always kind to us and always welcoming even to the youngest members of our big family. My heartfelt condolences goes to my dear cousins, Leah and Cathy and my aunt Tita Lengleng. You will always be in my prayers. Rest easy, Uncle Mike..until we meet again.
Dear Uncle Mike,
I will always have fond memories of you; the fun times our families had at the beach, the book that you gave me when I was a young girl, “Adventure Stories for Girls,” and your help with my school project. We will always remember you for your kindness. You will be missed dearly. May you Rest In Peace.🌷

Our 10-year old Jiro Mendoza, one of Uncle Mike’s great nephews, simply knows how to appreciate the time his great uncle Mike spent with him albeit very few ones over the past 10 years.
I am very proud of you Jiro for taking the time to express your thoughts over the passing of Uncle Mike.
Every time we went to Toronto during the pre Covid years we never failed to get together with Linda and Michael. With our two other friends Noli and Bea we would meet in some restaurant and shared food, stories and laughters. We usually ended up at the Laushway’s lovely home where we were entertained like royals by Linda and Michael. We will never forget Michael’s kind hospitality and gentle spirit, most of all we will never forget his love and devotion to our dear Linda. Sending our deepest sympathy to Linda and family, hope it comforts you to remember that Michael had touch so many lives, through the love he shared, kindness he showed and happiness he brought.
Love from Barry and Lynda
Death brings pain that time can only heal. No words could ease what we truly feel, but with God his joy is eternally sealed and cherish his memories that death can’t even steal.
Our sincere condolences to the whole family. Wishing you peace, comfort, courage and lots of love at this time of sorrow.
Mike will always be remembered! May his soul rest in eternal peace
