Heartfelt condolences to Doreen, Ryan and Leanne and family, Jen and Neil and family. We hope all of your happy memories comfort you now. We will miss Wayne and remember fondly all the ways he touched our family. When the kids were young he invited them to swim on the hottest days. He was Daniel’s first goalie coach and the trainer on his hockey team for several years, helping Herman who was coach. When we were looking to purchase our house we met Wayne and Doreen on the path and they were warm and welcoming and made the decision to buy easy. Rest In Peace, Wayne.

As the older cousin, I have many memories of good times that I had the privilege of sharing with Wayne and our two families. Our first Santa Claus parade in downtown Toronto, our first Argonauts football game and our many Sunday afternoons at my parent’s farm. As social science teachers, Wayne and I shared knowledge, strategies and best practices.
Most important, Wayne was a kind, inquisitive and positive person.
My love goes out to Doreen, Jennifer, Ryan, John, Steven and their families.
Dear Doreen, Ryan, Jennifer and Family,
We were heartbroken to hear the news of Wayne’s passing, a beloved husband, father and grandfather.
A beautiful family has lost a true gentleman who was an inspiration. His kindness touched many of us. We had the privilege of being neighbours for 35 years and experienced his thoughtfulness during that time. Wayne was always willing to assist with shovelling on those snowy days.
Soccer discussions were a source of great joy and Mark will hold dear TFC memorabilia that Wayne gave him.
Wayne’s wonderful family epitomizes his character and they will have many fond memories to keep him close. Gone way too soon. Our sincere and heartfelt condolences .
Wayne, Rest In Peace.
With love and prayers,
Karlene and Mark Lee
