elevated mpBTx Obituary
Aldo Vettese passed away peacefully in his home in Barrie in his 79th year on July 25th, 2022, with loved ones by his side, including his beloved wife and partner of 43 years, Laura. He was born in Cassino, Italy on October 31st, 1942, first born to Serafina and Vincenzo Vettese. Big brother to Assunta, Franco, Louie (predeceased), Benny, Felicia (predeceased), Philip, Billy and Anna. Respectful and caring brother-in-law to their spouses, loving uncle to their children and grand children.
elevated mpBTx Aldo was a highly regarded, successful, professional photographer whom, together with his wife built a photography business that was always changing and evolving with the times. He trained many photographers to excel at the craft. Always striving for perfection in himself and anyone that worked for him and with him. A man of integrity with many clients becoming life-long friends. Aldo tackled any job. If you didn’t know who to ask to get something done, ask Aldo.
elevated mpBTx Retirement did not slow this man down. It was another chapter that took him back to his music with friends of his youth. He never stopped learning and growing his skills in photography, music and even cooking. It had to be perfect and always his way. Aldo loved having people around him but his best friend was always his wife, his partner, Laura.
elevated mpBTx He loved animals and adored his little toy poodle, Elvis, and Elvis worshipped Aldo. The two of them were one. Elvis stuck to Aldo as soon as they met and Aldo made sure Elvis was always happy and never alone. Elvis passed in 2014 and now in 2022 they will be joined for all eternity.
elevated mpBTx Family and friends will miss receiving Aldo’s annual emails with his best wishes at Christmas and at Easter.
elevated mpBTx At 79, you would not say someone’s life had been cut short but for Aldo it was cut short. He had plans for the next 10 years, but unfortunately, God had a different plan.
elevated mpBTx Aldo, you will be missed by all.

To my Brother Aldo… May our Lord Jesus Christ shine upon you for ever… my Heart is broken… you are the best brother that any body could have..every body loves you… I hope that you have reunited with Mom., Pops. Luigi. And Antonio. Our sisters husband…. God Bless you, and you will be always on my mind… Ciao Aldo…
We don’t even know where to begin. Our hearts are broken. Laura, you wrote a beautiful tribute to Aldo. Aldo was a great friend to us. We had so many wonderful times together with both he and Laura. When they vacationed in Florida near us we were welcomed daily into their condo for cappuccino and other fabulously baked treats. We will never forget those times and the laughs we had. Our day trips to so many great places will be preserved forever in our minds because of Aldo’s photography, always taking photos wherever we went. When Aldo wanted to do something he did it well. He put his mind to it and didn’t give up. He was a kind, funny and loving friend and will be missed so very much. Laura, our hearts break for you. I wish there was something we could do help to ease your pain. You took the best care of Aldo. You were an exemplary couple, perfect together and greatly admired. We hope that you can find some peace and comfort remembering the exceptional love and wonderful times that you and Aldo had together. You will always be in our thoughts and prayers. We are so sad that we didn’t make it up there on time to see Aldo, but one thing that makes us smile is thinking that Aldo is now with Elvis getting a lot of love from him. We all loved Elvis too! Who could not love that little guy?! I hope that Murray and Roxy are also there and Aldo is looking over them as well. Aldo if you can hear us, we will always love you and Laura. You are incredibly missed. By the way, I know you will understand this even though most everyone else will not . . . never put a round clock on a square wall. Laura, we love you!!! ❤️❤️❤️
I had a wonderful relationship with Aldo as a friend and colleague. He will be sadly missed. I worked for him for 16 years and respected him greatly. My sincerest condolences to his family.
