Terrance is survived by his wife of 52 years, Margaret (Burtles), proud father of son Wayne and girlfriend Alejandra, daughter Andrea and her husband Joseph D’Mello and his beloved grandchildren Brooklynn and Cameron. But to help, we wish you courage and healing during these toughest of days. Cry when you feel like it. Let the laughter roll when it comes. And know that your loved one Terry will forever live on in the journeys you shared together. in your heart. I will always remember our fishing and hunting trips. Hope the following poem will give you solace during this time of sorrow and grief.
THERE IS SUNRISE FOR EACH SOUL-
FOR LIFE, NOT DEATH IS GOD’S PROMISED GOAL…
SO, TRUST GOD’S PROMISE AND DOUBT HIM NEVER,
FOR ONLY THROUGH DEATH CAN ONE LIVE FOREVER.
MAY YOUR FAITH NOW BRING YOU COMFORT
AND HELP YOU UNDERSTAND, THAT OUR GOD UP IN HEAVEN NOW HOLDS YOUR BELOVED TERRANCE’S HAND.
May the Lord and His Blessed Mother grant you and all the extended Danton/Burtles Family members the fortitude to cope with the devastating loss!
My deepest sympathies,
Anne Borges

Dear Aunty Margaret, Andrea (Joe, Brooklyn & Cameron) and Wayne (Alejandra), my heart goes out to you on losing Uncle Terence. Although we haven’t seen each other in many years, I always smile when I think of all the memories I have of all the Saturday nights we all spent at your apartment in NDG. There were so many crazy & wonderful things we did together. I always remember fishing with Uncle Terence, my dad and the group from Montreal. Your home was a warm and welcoming place for everyone and anyone. I am sure Uncle Terence is being welcomed in his new home with God. He will be missed by all who love him. I hope your heart gets lighter as your grief becomes less with time. All my love, Stephanie, Kevin, Andrew, Alexis & Nicole.
Uncle Terence was a very special person. His caring, gentle and loving nature will always warm my heart. He always asked how people are doing and he would smile his sweet smile while cracking a joke.
My deepest condolences to Aunty Margaret, Andrea and family, and Wayne. May you find comfort and peace in knowing he is with God and that his time on earth was well spent with everyone who was blessed to know him. With lots of love, Karen, Mike, Mark and Jenna.
