elevated 0us0F Obituary
Angela passed away Sept 17, 2022, peacefully at Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital after a brief illness at the age of 54. She leaves behind the love of many family members and friends. She is survived by her husband, soulmate, and companion of 30 years, Howard. Loving sister to Susan (Mario). Beloved sister-in-law to Jan (Cindy), Gary, Kelly (Laureen), and Helen. Sweet and caring aunt to Elyse, Sabrina, Tyler, and Matthew. She will be greatly missed by her many friends and large extended family.
She enriched the lives of everyone in her life. Angela always found time to lend a sympathetic ear, provide a helping hand and offer words of encouragement. She was always ready with a well-thought-out sentiment for any occasion or a gift that showed she cared. Best friend to many and considered her friends as family and her family as friends. Her generosity of spirit extended to being a supporter of numerous charities and causes. This outspoken Doc Martens-wearing social justice warrior never backed down when fighting abuse and discrimination while seeking fair and equal treatment for all. She showed an unlimited work ethic as a successful business owner, leader, and mentor. She was a fan of the Toronto Blue Jays and New York Yankees, liked to read, and had a love for all kinds of music from the Clash to Harry Styles and Sinatra.
Smart and funny, honest and beautiful, she’s made a lasting impression. Pay it forward and forgive someone who has hurt you or show an act of kindness to fill the hole in our lives as she ascends to heaven to join her Nanny, aunts and uncles, Mar, and comare Marie. Immense gratitude to the ICU nurses, doctors, and support staff at Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital for going above and beyond caring for Angela.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Visitation at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home, 211 Langstaff Rd E, Thornhill, ON L3T 3Z6 on Friday, September 23, 2022, 2-8 pm. The funeral service will be held Saturday, September 24, 2022, at 1:30 pm in the funeral home’s Chapel of St. Joseph. For those unable to attend the funeral Mass in person, it is available via live stream on the funeral home’s website www.catholic-cemetaries.ca. A Celebration of Angela’s Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of choice may be made in Angela’s memory

We will always be grateful for her kind and thoughtful spirit….and for touching and enriching our lives in so many ways.
Both Theresa and I are heartbroken with the news. Fly with the Angels sweet Angela. A Friend that knew no bounds and we are truly gutted with the news. Blessed we got to know both of you.
Howard god bless to you and our thoughts are with you, Tena and Carolyn this weekend as you say your goodbyes.
Howard words cannot express our feelings. Angela always had a smile on her face and was always happy when doing things for others. Remembering your wedding and good times we had together. May she rest in peace. Cousin’s Joey and Sandra.
I can’t believe Angela has left us. She was the light in a lot of hearts, and the rock in a lot of lives. She would help you at the drop of a hat, making sure you were okay. You were always lucky and blessed if you had Angela in your corner.
I will miss her laugh most of all.
I like to imagine her in heaven right now, having a drink with Joe Strummer, belting one out with Frank Sinatra. Rock on, Angela. You will never be forgotten.
