elevated ngCLQ It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Oreste Ciardullo. God called onto Oreste on Tuesday, November 1st, 2022, and he passed away peacefully at Ian Anderson Hospice, with his family by his side. Beloved husband of Rita. Loving father of Raffaella, Franco (Cathy) and Susanna (Rocco). Adored Nonno of Natasha (Steven), Ashley (Travis), Kristi (Ben), Sophie, Isabella, Gianluca, Maurizio and Giuliano. Cherished great grandfather of Olivia.
elevated ngCLQ Born in Dipignano, Italy on March 13, 1929, Oreste immigrated to Canada in 1951 and settled in Sudbury, Ontario to join his older brother Vincenzo and sister Maria (Marietta). On July 1, 1959, Oreste married the love of his life Rita Altomare and together they started their family in Sudbury. He was a loving, patient and warm-hearted soul who was always ready to lend a helping hand. He was a hard-working carpenter by trade but a master of all trades. He truly enjoyed the challenge of solving any problem.
