elevated WbcU3 Obituary
elevated WbcU3 Peacefully passed away on November 24, 2022 at the age of 95 with family by her side. Caring and devoted mother to Teresa (Warren). Loving Nanna to Aaron & Angela (Richard). Proud Buznanna to Sophia & Olivia. She was a loving sister to predeceased brothers and sister: Domenic (Ethel), Pauline (Fred), Spiro, and Frank (Margaret). Victoria will be lovingly remembered in the hearts of many family and friends.
elevated WbcU3 Born on Maria Street in Toronto. She was the fourth child of Pauline and Lawrence Mifsud who immigrated from Malta. She attended school at St. Cecilia’s. She was very devoted to God and prayed the rosary every night. She worked at the Royal Conservatory of Music until retiring at the age of 66. She walked and took TTC everywhere she needed to get to. She was an inspiration to many.
elevated WbcU3 For many years (after retiring), Victoria loved going to the Woodbine Casino which was the perfect spot to celebrate her 90th birthday.
elevated WbcU3 Victoria loved spending time with her family and friends. This gave her purpose in life. She was incredibly generous, never forgetting a special occasion. She enjoyed adventure and often enjoyed “trying something different”. Victoria’s famous Pastizzi will be missed by many but will be forever remembered.
elevated WbcU3 May she rest in peace, until we meet again. Xo

I can’t help but think that when Aunt Vicky was met by all those who have gone before her that the first thing that would be said is, “What took you so long?” I’ve always been in awe at how she just kept on going with so much purpose in her life. A true inspiration for all of us and a perfect example to follow. Terri, Warren, Aaron and Angela, I’m so sorry for your loss but at the same time envious of all the time you’ve had to enjoy her company. Your Mom/Nana will never be gone as long as she’s remembered and any time you are lonely for her company all you’ll need to do is bring up a memory of her and she’ll be right there with you. Love you all.
She was always known to us a Cousin Vicki, even though Victoria was my father’s cousin. Fondly remember visiting Vicki and Terry as a child at their home on Priscilla Ave in the west end. Over the many years Victoria was a picture of independence and grace. Condolences to family. May she rest in peace.

Great Aunt Vicki, your presence was always such a welcomed one. You will be missed. You were a truly inspirational woman.
I met Victoria at Village Mosaic and got to know her more when we spoke on the phone over the past couple of years. She was a feisty lady who so valued being independent. I always told her how much I admired her. My thoughts are with the family at this sad time but I am sure you have lots of wonderful memories to treasure. God Bless
Terri, Warren, Aaron and Angela we’re sorry for Mrs. Xuereb’s passing, she was a really nice Grandma figure, she made us feel like part of the family whenever we visited. You could tell she really cared about people. I always thought it was neat that she lived on her own all those years in the city, going here and there on the transit. I remember being impressed when I was younger. I also remember her hugs.
I’m glad she was with you guys when she passed, it must have been comforting to her. She’s at God’s side now and we’ll see her again one day ☺️.
Sorry that we can’t be there today but you all are in our prayers.
Lots of love.
On behalf of our mother, Lucy, we express our deepest condolences for your loss. We will always remember how lovely Vickie looked at her 90th birthday party. We enjoyed talking with her at the many Attard family gatherings over the years. May she rest in peace.
I met Victoria many years ago at the Village Mosaic.
It was always a pleasure to sit with her and talk. I admired her greatly for her independence. At age 90 she was still looking after her house, doing all the work of cleaning and gardening. Every year she would bring us the calendar published for seniors. She would bring large quantities in her bundle buggy on the TTC.
We shared many a good story and many laughs.
God bless
