In her 95th year, we celebrate the long life of a beautiful and remarkable woman. The very best, most loving, devoted grandmother there ever was, our Babi. Sadly predeceased by the love of her life, her husband Marijan Fajdic and her beautiful daughter Tamara Carinci. Her memory lives on in her sister Branka, nieces Sanja and Milana and many relatives in Croatia, her son in law Fred Carinci (Cheryl), cherished lifelong friends and most importantly her beloved grandchildren Marc (Elna), Stephanie and Christina Carinci and great grandchildren Luka, Mila and Nika.

Dear Fred,Marc, Steph and Christina
Our deepest sympathies on the passing of your truly remarkable grandmother. I fondly remember summers running along the path to see her. She was always so kind and gracious. We will all miss her but remember her with every rustle of those pines in the soft summer breeze. I know she is now resting in peace with your live. We are in Calgary this week not returning until next week, but our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Aaron and I are deeply saddened at Jay’s passing. She was a wonderful friend and loved by our children. She and Mike were considered “family “ as was her children and grandchildren. They were so much a part of our lives while our children were growing up. Our antics and adventures have given us wonderful memories.
Please accept our deepest sympathies and condolences for the loss of beloved “Babi.” It is with great sadness this news is received. So many fond memories of a life well lived. She was a strong, positive force of nature that was loved by our whole family. It is with love that we express our condolences for your loss. May you take some comfort in the memories that will live on in all our hearts. May she rest in peace, and dance with the stars.
What wonderful memories we have of our many fun times with Jay & Mike on Bigwin Island, Lake of Bays.
We are deeply sorry to hear of Jay’s passing.
She was a great friend and we shared many great times together.
Our teta Dada was a very dear and long time friend of ours. She was a a very loving and caring person with a positive outlook on life. She will always stay in our hearts.
Semec Family
She never had more loyal grandaughters in her final years. Our deepest condolences to the entire family
Dear Fred and Family, we are so very sorry for your loss. Even though you don’t know us personally we lived across the street from Mike & Dada (as we called her) on Santa Barbara Road. My late father Vincenzo Caringi did a lot of work on the cottage and we were lucky enough to be invited to tag along and enjoy the weekends with them. Both were such beautiful people and we were treated like family. May they rest in eternal peace. Sincere condolences Loreta Caringi, Enzo, Connie and Maria from 62 Santa Barbara Road.
Fred, Stephanie, Christina, Marc and family.
Our heartfelt condolences to you all. Your MIL, grandma and great grandmother was an amazing woman who lived life and influenced many.
We dearly remember all the times at the cottage and how warm and welcoming Jay / Dada was towards us. We enjoyed our discussions and laughs. We were all fortunate that she was a part of our Lake of Bays lives.
May the laughter and memories and her courage, formidableness, strength and determination help you through these times.
Hugs to you all.
