It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Louis Michael Farrugia in his 75th year on January 18th, 2023, after a long battle with cancer, which he fought with great determination, humility, and courage. Predeceased by his parents, Carmel and Lucy, and brothers, Maurice and Mike (Susan), he is survived by his loving wife, Diane, his daughter Amanda (Kurtis), his precious grandchildren who meant the world to him, Hudson and Olivia, his son Mathew, and brother Mark (Irene). He will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews, along with his loyal furry friend, Abby. A retired 39 year employee at the City of Toronto, and former president of the Brampton Corvette Club, he will be remembered with fondness by his many friends and colleagues. A special thank you to the doctors and nurses at Credit Valley Hospital, and the nurses and PSWs at Care Partners.
