elevated dDvII Obituary
Our beloved Elizabeth passed away peacefully on April 1st, surrounded by the people she held most dear. One of the brightest stars in our personal firmament, she was so many things to so many people. To Andy, her husband of 11 years, she was the irreplaceable love of his life. To Kathleen and John (deceased in 2003), a daughter who loved them fiercely. To Jeff (Anne), Janis (Jason), and Blake (deceased in 2020) (Helen), a little sister who loved and was loved by them above all others. She was the kind of sister-in-law that Shanti (Kalan) had always hoped for, and a daughter-in-law to Ram (Aurea) who loved her like one of their own. And to Savannah, Haley, Alison, Isabella , and Jake (Fidani), as well as Carson and Blake (Gidwani-Milley), she was a devoted Aunt who never failed to show them just how loved and special they were. In addition to all these, she was a dear and constant friend to all who had the good fortune to fall within her orbit.

elevated dDvII She never shied away from a challenge, and even the most daunting obstacles in her life were met with adamantine determination.  Her success and achievements were matched only by her humility. This made her a role model many aspired to emulate in their own lives. Those who do so carry her within them, in their thoughts and actions.

elevated dDvII She will be severely missed, and the degree of sorrow that her absence has wrought in all our lives reminds us that grief is the price of love. And our Elizabeth was so very, very loved.

elevated dDvII Donations may be made in her honour to the UHN Foundation, Transplant Campaign.
