elevated ph9yH Obituary
elevated ph9yH It is with great sadness to share with you that Pasquale (Lino) Ammaturo passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2023. Beloved husband to Marie (nee Battaglia) for 59 years. Dear father to Donna (Nazzareno), Joe (Tina), Robert (Lucia) and Tina (Robert). Loving Nonno to Federico, Enrica, Julia, Felicia, Valerio, Luca, Elisa, Stefano, Anthony and Alexander. A special thank you to all of his caregivers who worked together as a team and whom Dad loved like family.
elevated ph9yH Lino immigrated to Toronto in 1962, from Italy and married the love of his life Marie in 1964. Together they created a beautiful family, a successful business, Woodhill Garden Centre, and lived a good life by travelling, celebrating and working. We want to remember Lino as the patriarch of our family. Dad, we will honour you every day of our lives by continuing your legacy. We will miss you dearly and you will always be in our hearts. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson Canada. https://www.parkinson.ca/

It was a pleasure knowing Lino over the many years that we shared as an extended family. We know what a strong force he was to the family unit. His love, values, and devotion to his family are evident in the hearts and eyes of the beautiful family members that he leaves behind. He will be truly missed; however, never be forgotten. To my dear father Lino.
As we prepare for Lino’s last mass celebrated in the Catholic church I want to express to everyone the faith and strength I am receiving from the Lord. Dad received anointing of the sick prior to his passing before being welcomed with open arms. I will continue to pray for his soul and I thank God for the blessings I received being raised by a man who left me with gifts to continue in life by being the best person I can be. Thank you dad for all you did for our family. We were honoured to have you as our father here on earth. Many blessings to all families who lost loved ones. Remember we are not alone in this journey. Jesus is always there to guide us during these difficult times.
Donna
Sending our condolences to the Ammaturo family on your loss. Our thoughts are with you all.
Gian, Katie, and Cole.
With the support of his family and caregivers, Lino never gave up hope and was determined to fight his Parkinson Disease. He accepted his condition, but, remained strong and worked hard. With this same hard work mentality, he left a lasting legacy in Woodhill Garden Centre to his children and grandchildren. We had the pleasure of travelling on 2 Mediterranean cruises with Lino and Marie many years ago and have many lasting memories and laughs of our time spent together. Your work on earth is done. Buona Joba Lino! Rest in Peace.
Sending our sincere condolences to the Ammaturo family. Lino will be greatly missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace and watch over his family. Guglielmo, Jenn and Matteo De Luca
Marie, Tina, Donna, Joe and Rob –
Words are not enough to express our condolences on the loss of your husband and father. Lino was a kind, funny, generous and intelligent man. Anyone who knew him would also know how much he loved his entire family, near or far.
Lino was a fighter and as a family you gave him the strength to survive and continue to build memories over the last few years. We are sure that the same strength will help you cope going forward.
Our family is thankful to have made our own memories and, rest assured, Lino will not be forgotten, rather will be forever remembered.
