It is with sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Umilina De Stefano (nee De Bonis) at the age of 77 in Uxbridge. Loving wife of Bruno of 58 wonderful years. Cherished mother of Claudio, Graziano and Maria. Proud Nonna to Krystina, Claudia, Matteo, Gian Carlo, Sabrina, Graziano, Shawn and Ian. Bisnonna to Leonardo, Luca and Dante.
elevated DSbmH Umilina will be missed and remembered by her family and friends here in Canada and in Italy. A special thank you to the staff at Markham Stouffville Hospital for their exceptional care especially Dr. Trinkaus, Dr. Munn, PSW Cheryl and Nurse Daniele.

gli ultimi tempi mi sei mancata tanto perche` non sentivo la tua voce e mi preocupavo per la tua delicata salute, tanto che ti ho scritto una letterina, ma muta e` rimasta la tua voce, oggi ho capito perche`.
Nel lungo periodo di silenzio amica cara, ti sono stata vicino con la preghiera, il pensiero e con il mio cuore.
Ci conosciamo dai lontani anni settanta, la nostra amicizia e` stata sincera. Mi mancherai, adesso riposa ci rivedremo.

My condolences go out to the entire family. I have heard so many beautiful stories about Nona from her exceptional granddaughter Krystina. May she rest in peace and may she sore as an angel and look over her cherished ones. I know her legacy lives on. Heaven has gained yet another angel.
