elevated SkNa1 The family announces with sorrow the passing of Gaetano Iannucci on August 28, 2023 at the age of 84. Beloved husband for 62 years of Elena (nee Laurentini). Loving father to Laura (late Joe) and Anthony (Anna). Cherished nonno of Livio (Lori), Alessandra (Rob), Andrea (Antonio) and Angelica (Rory). Dear bisnonno to Giancarlo, Luca, Joseph and Isabel. Gaetano came to Canada from Italy at age 17 and married his beloved wife Elena at 21. Together they worked hard to provide a loving home for their family. Gaetano enjoyed life to the fullest with family and friends but especially with his grandchildren, he will be missed by all. As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Alzheimer Society of Canada would be greatly appreciated by the family.

We walked into your home and he was sleeping on his side on your living room floor and I remember his shoulders being so large that his head did not even touch the floor,

Gaetano was a great man, I will never forget the days he would walk into The Gentleman’s Choice barber shop with a cigar in hand, walk straight to the back with my dad and share a brandy and that cigar.
