elevated tgwkw It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Maria Da Conceicao (Vaughan, Ontario) on October 4th, 2023, at the age of 81. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Virgolino of 57 years, her son Julio and his wife Sandra, and her adoring grandchildren Nicholas and Julia.
elevated tgwkw Maria was born in Ferreira do Alentejo, Portugal in 1942 and immigrated to Canada with her husband in 1966. Together they worked hard to ensure a good life for themselves and their son, Julio. Maria was a kind, loving, and gentle woman who loved to dance and laugh.
elevated tgwkw She dedicated her early retirement years to helping care for her grandchildren, having moved just 5 minutes away to ensure she could lend a helping hand and be a big part of their day to day lives, and for many years she did just that. She was a proud mother and grandmother, finding joy in the accomplishments of her loved ones and being supportive of every endeavor.
elevated tgwkw Anyone who knew Maria knew that she was someone who cared deeply for others, always looking out for their best interests. She was full of love and kindness and was always available to talk to – spending hours on the phone chatting with friends and family.
elevated tgwkw She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her. To honour Maria’s memory and in lieu of flowers, we kindly ask that you consider making a donation to Parkinson Canada.
