John, I always think back to when we first met, it was on Church street in Toronto and we were unloading our equipment for a big band gig. I could sense that you were such a nice person then and that never changed. Thinking back to all the gigs we played on together and many of them when we would get fed. How we enjoyed that and especially when would go to the sweet table on our breaks. We kept that tradition going when Mary, Nancy, you and I would go out for dinners. Sometimes with busy schedules and couldn’t get together as soon as we wanted, we always loved that we could pick-up where we left off. To say, We will miss you, would be an understatement.
Love you John
Dearest Condolences to you Mary, together with all your Children, Grandchildren, all your Family and close Friends,
on the passing of your Dear John.
John will always be remembered as a true kind person, pleasure to be with, joyful, who always showed much compassion to others.
Prayers and wishes of Strength and Strong Faith at this time, and wishing you always feel his incredible undying love for you all.
Love, Marco Guglietti
My condolences to the Marmora family. I met John 20 plus years ago when introduced by my business partner Jim Mancel we needed a third working partner to help out. I asked John what can you do? He said I play a mean piano. Well needless to say John became a professional in our business in short order. John was all about family and his dedication to the shareholders. He was well respected and loved . We loved him so much he was chosen as my last daughters GodFather. Unfortunately different paths took us further away from each other in life but John was always in my heart and prayers. I got the news today of his passing and was very shook. John today I know you’re playing your piano in heaven with Angels if you happen to see my dad say hi. May God be with your family in this very sad time.
John was my good friend, and long-time band mate. He was a talented pianist, as well as a dedicated family man – a kind gentle soul who lived life to the fullest. We had so many laughs and good times over the many years we played together. I will miss you my friend. Rest in peace, John.
