elevated 1rXlg Obituary

elevated 1rXlg It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Barbara-Anne Pynisky on December 22, 2023 at age 77. Forever in the hearts of her loving husband, Stephen Pynisky, cherished sister Nellie Halton, children: Andrea (David), Paul-Allan and Sarah. Proud grandmother of Juliet. Devoted aunt to: Sharon (Nigel), David (Victoria), Patrick, Ian and Rob. Predeceased by her siblings: Austin Gardner, Regina Lumsden, Vivian Cleland, and Allan Gardner.

elevated 1rXlg Barbara-Anne took great delight in working with people. She had a long career with the Ministry of Treasury and Economics and the Ontario Securities Commission. In retirement, she took a role in a dental office. She enjoyed keeping busy and volunteered with the Out of the Cold Program. She maintained many close friendships from her various roles.

elevated 1rXlg Barbara-Anne had many special talents. Her photo-worthy lemon meringue pies were a family treasure; her heartfelt notes written in exquisite penmanship a joy to receive. Her ability to do mental math was astonishing, and her sense of humour was as unique as the twinkle in her eye. Her greatest gift, however, was her ability to make those who were lucky enough to know her intimately feel honestly and deeply loved. Her kind and generous spirit will be dearly missed.
