Peter Ripley reached the age of 80 – a dream realized on December 19, 2023. Four days later he died peacefully beside the love of his life of 46 years, Rachel Ripley.
Peter is an artist and avid fisherman. He loved to cook and enjoyed listening to gospel and country music.
Peter is survived by his wife Rachel, brother Phil Ripley and sister Sharon Ripley Masulka.
A funeral Mass will be held at St. Dominic’s Church on January 19, 2024 at 11 a.m.
Inurnment will follow at Assumption Catholic Cemetery at 6933 Tomken Road, Mississauga, ON.
Peter, this is it. Forty-six married sharing laughter and joy, travel, adventure in Alaska, driving to Banff and Jaspers last September. New memories I shall cherish forever. I love you and will missed.

Kellie, our deepest condolences to you. Peter is now at peace with our Lord in heaven. Paco and I were glad to have had the chance to visit him. He looked peaceful and calm like a baby.
Our most fond memories with Peter was the road trip at the Maritimes with the Santos sisters and their respective husbands, Prim, Jack and Peter.
That was a fun, memorable trip.
Peter will truly be missed… a wonderful, loving and caring person and a dedicated husband who spoilt and loved his wife unceasingly.
RIP Peter.

Peter, your calm friendly demeanour and love of both life and Ate Rachel was truly admirable. Although Pam and I had the pleassure of knowing you for a short 8 years, we have a world of great memories that include you and Rachel. I will miss “hanging out” together while watching the Leafs as well as sitting on the lake fishing. You were a beauty and the world has lost an amazing soul.

Our friendship was short lived but from the few occasions our paths crossed you were always most welcoming and friendly. I was most appreciative of the way you showed your care and love for Rachel. Your wife. You will be missed but the memories will keep us going on with life , made stronger to face challenges as they come , all because our paths once crossed..God speed , rest in the peaceful waters of paradise, till we meet again. again.

Peter, I am so sorry that you are gone. I will always remember the hunk that carried the sofa on his shoulders when you helped Kellie move from Y&E eons ago. And of course I will miss your art that I admired so much. Even then, I knew that Kellie will be well looked after and loved. RIP Peter in God’s loving arms.
