It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Elsa Alarcon-Sue. Elsa, born in Lima, Peru on April 21st, 1957, daughter of Juan and Maura Alarcon, was reunited with her beloved father on February 8th, 2024.Second youngest of her siblings, Elsa grew up alongside her brother, Miguel Alarcon, and sisters Carmen Alarcon and Teresa Arbildo.
elevated ViDCx Elsa came to Canada in 1974 and, in her later years, attended Seneca College where she met her beloved husband, Alan Sue. The two later married on September 10th, 1983, and went on to have three children: David, Denise, and Deanna.
elevated ViDCx Everyone who knew Elsa knew she was dedicated to her family more than anything. She was a loving, kind, and strong individual who devoted herself to being there for those dear to her. Her resilience was what always made her strong and served as a pillar of strength for all those around her. Elsa’s life was filled with love for her family, her many friends, and for those whose lives she touched. She will always be dearly missed and forever remembered in our hearts.

I am so so sorry for your loss. I worked with Elsa for many years and she was a very kind person and always tried to help others. I will miss her dearly.
My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this time. I also worked with Elsa for many years and I’m so sad to hear of her passing. She was such a sweet and kind person that I’m sure she will be missed by all who knew her.

Elsa, you were a wonderful, strong person who had such a positive outlook on/for life. I know that Alan, David, Denise & Deanna loved you so much & you loved them just as much in return. I pray that hopefully over time their deep sense of loss & sadness will lessen.
You will be truly missed by our family. We were lucky to have you as our sister-in-law.

Dearest Tia Elsa as my family would call you, I will keep our private times in my heart dearly. We would share moments of encouraging conversations and sharing ways to keep culture alive by teaching our kids. you always welcomed me and we looked forward to seeing your smile at family functions. My girls are heartbroken to hear the news but are forever grateful for you showing them love and always taking the time to have meaningful talks in full out Spanish and telling jokes with them, they definitely had a special relationship with you. I was shocked today to hear of Elsa’s passing. Such a sweet and kind individual who always had a ready smile. Alan, my heart breaks for you and the children. Dearest Aunty Elsa,
Heaven has gained a beautiful angel, but know that you leaving us creates a void in our family that can never be filled.
Thank you for always being such a kind and warm Aunty to my brothers and I. We will always remember your sweet gestures and up beat spirit whenever we got together, especially over the holidays.
Thank you for also being there to celebrate so many special moments with us as kids and adults. I will especially cherish you coming to my wedding shower last year. It was truly a blessing to have you there.
You will be missed dearly by all of us, especially Uncle Alan, David, Denise and Deanna, who are in our deepest thoughts and prayers. We will always be there for them and show them the love and kindness that you shared with everyone around you.
