elevated vV5lc We are very sad to announce that on Friday, March 1, 2024, Matilda “Tila” Brkić passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Trillium Hospital. Tila was predeceased by her beloved husband Angelko (2005). She is survived by her sons Tony (Lynne) and John (Nina); grandchildren Dillon (Karen) and Monika (Roman). She will be missed by her sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, many friends, and the late Slavko Lasic’s family. Along with being a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend, she was a fun spirited soul. Her vibrant personality made everyone feel welcome. We will miss the entertaining stories that she told at the family celebrations that she lovingly hosted with joy, delicious food, and amazing Croatian pastries. We are blessed that she was part of our lives and will miss her forever. Rest in peace.
