elevated Qk96H God called Kathleen McGovern peacefully on March 31, 2024 at the age of 72. Cherished by her dear daughter Lisa (James). Proud grandmother to Matthew & Melissa. She will be missed by her siblings Angela and Bernard. Kathleen is now reunited in Heaven with her brother Paul. She will be held dear in the hearts of her family and many friends. In memory of Kathleen, donations can be made out to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation.

Dear Lisa and family, I am so shocked and saddened to learn of Kathleen’s death. I worked with her for many years at Dante Alighieri Academy. She was very devoted to her students and very kind to me. Please accept my sincere condolences.

I worked closely with Kathleen for many years at C&D She was a wonderful support to all her students and we often shared a few stories and laughs. I feel very saddened with this loss.
