elevated 8igVS  Veronica (Vera) Stewart Thomas passed away peacefully at the age of 96 in Cambridge, Ontario on Thursday, March 28, 2024. Vera is pre-deceased by her husband Roy and her son John, and survived by her daughter Mary (David), daughter-in-law Ingrid (Noel), her siblings Eileen, Betty and Patricia, and extended family in Canada and Scotland. She was a loving grandmother to her grandchildren Megan (Ryan), Beth (Justin), John (Cara), Shauna, Emily, and Callum, and her great-grandchildren Alice and Violet.

elevated 8igVS Vera was born in Greenock, Scotland on July 20, 1927 and immigrated to Canada in her mid-twenties, where she met her husband Roy. A fiercely proud Torontonian for over 50 years, she was an avid reader, a lover of fashion, and was deeply engaged in following current affairs. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.
