Our heartfelt condolences to the whole family. Sal is now reunited with his Dad Vincenzo, Brother-in-Law Jim and many other relatives…. may he rest in peace as we cherish his memory…. until we meet again my dearest cousin. Love you forever and a day. Mary Fazio and family.
Wishing you peace, comfort, courage and lots of love during this time of sorrow. My heart goes out to the entire family during this difficult time.
Sal you are one of a kind. Irreplaceable. Our laughs go beyond your time here with us. You are my best friend and our jokes and pranks will be missed but never forgotten.
Until we meet again my friend. I’m still waiting for my honey…I hope you have more than one bee.
Wishing you peace during this difficult time.
Sal had a great sense of
humor I’m grateful I got the chance to know him He was always willing to share his knowledge.
Sal was a joy to work with and always good for a laugh. He will be greatly missed. My condolences to his family
Dear Olga, Our deepest condolences to you and your family during this very sorrowful time.
Sal was a genuine and kind person, a gentleman, in the true sense of the word. He grew up steps from our Ulster Street home in Toronto. We feel privileged to have known him for much of his life. He was my brother Gabz’s best friend since childhood, a friend for life.
God bless Sal and lead his soul to Heaven.
Beloved Sal,
In the darkest time of our lives, you and Olga poured out your tremendous love, loyalty and support for the boys and I. We love you and we are forever grateful. The promise of Christ is yours dear friend. Well done. Rest in His peace, His love and His joy. You are so deserving. Colleen, Brady & Evan xoxo
A great man who always had a smile on his face and wanted others to have the same smile as well. I learned a lot about transit and about life from you. A good friend and a mentor. Gone too soon. Until we meet again my brother in Uniform.
Sal, your presence brought joy and warmth to those around you, encouraging us all to cherish our loved ones and savour life’s simplest pleasures. Your humor was contagious and can lighten the mood in the most darkest times.
Personally, I am very grateful for the laughs shared and the wisdom you passed on. You left a lasting impression on a young man and helped him realize what matters most.
Rest in Peace,
Love Marco
This news is a real shocker to me. My sincere condolences to Sal’s family and friends. A great loss of a friend. RIP Sal.

My deepest condolences to the entire family. May God grant you courage during this difficult time.
Sal was a good friend to have at Transit. We joked, laughed, and had good fun. We always enjoyed Sal’s silly jokes, ssssssssssss, was our mantra. It was a great night at the Leafs game, “Rodriguesssssss”.
Sal, I’m sorry that you left us so soon. We talked about retirement, and that became our focus in our latter years. You were delighted when you became a nono, your smile told the whole story about how much you loved your grandchild (s), and family. We remembered our high-school years (although we didn’t meet then).
I will pray that God will grant you eternal life, 🙏🏼 God bless your soul.
Until we meet again Sal, rest in peace.
May God grant you strength and peace during this time of loss.We are so sorry for your loss and offer our heartfelt condolences.May God bring you comfort and strength in the days ahead.May God’s love and grace fill your hearts and bring you peace in this time of sorrow.I will always remember our moments we shared.
Wishing you peace, strength and God’s love during these difficult times within your lives.
Sal was a great friend and colleague. He was blessed with always managing to put on a cheerful smile which went a long way amongst his colleagues at Miway. Sal always seemed to have a way of making people smile.
You will be missed my friend. May your body rest in peace and your soul flourish in Gods heavenly home.
We shall meet once again my friend.
How do I say goodbye?
To my best friend,
To my wing man,
To my best man,
To my brother.
I’m not going to say goodbye ,
I’m just gonna say for now …
“See you later buddy”
I’m deeply sorry for the loss of Sal. My thoughts are with you during this difficult time. May you find comfort in your cherished memories and the thought that Jim was there to greet Sal.
My deepest condolences Olga and family during this time. May your fond memories bring you comfort…
My sincere condolences to Sal’s family and friends !
In 2002 Sal was my Driver trainer at Mississauga transit. He was so funny and full of laughter. But he taught me how to drive. safely . He was full of tips and wisdom regarding the Transit life. I was so grateful to know him over the years. He continued to give me tips and information. He was an invaluable colleague for me.
He always had a smile on his face as shared funny jokes. He was very loved in the Transit environment. And Will be missed .
So sorry to hear this sad news Olga. It sounds like Sal was a great man. You must have beautiful memories to cherish forever.
Our sincerest condolences and prayers are with this beautiful family and all who loved Sal. He was a huge presence in my dear Friend Debby’s life. All her greatest moments included her Uncle Sal. We only knew of him but through Debby and family’s eyes, we’ve learned what an amazing human being he was and huge presence to this beautiful family. May you all find some comfort in knowing he now rejoices in the arms of our Lord. May he rest in eternal peace . Much love to you all
Hey this is a shock. We used to talk about retirement all the time. We used to joke around and laughed at everyone and everything. You will be sadly missed. God Bless you and rest in peace brother.
