elevated w4aQv Obituary
elevated w4aQv It is with heavy hearts that the family of Lawrence Timothy Unrau announces his passing, as he peacefully moved to his eternal rest on April 21, 2024, at the age of 65, while in the St. Catharines General Hospital. Tim will be remembered as a man whose strength and determination allowed him to beat many odds, even when they seemed stacked against him. His heart was filled when he was surrounded by friends and family, especially when he was with any of his nine grandchildren. He is predeceased by wife Lauretta, and will be greatly missed by his daughters, Amanda Ho (Vay), Marcia Drover (Darryl), and Jessica Johnson (Zach), and his grandchildren, Brock Drover, Olivia Drover, Micah Ho, Malaki Ho, Xander Ho, Harvey Johnson, Everett Johnson, Mikyleigh Milligan and Shane Milligan. Along with these, he leaves this earth forever cherished by his sisters and their families, by Lauretta’s family, and by many friends whom he valued greatly. In lieu of flowers Tims family asks that donations be made in his memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation at https://www.heartandstroke.ca/donations. While a small ceremony will take place at the funeral home, a celebration of life will be held at a later date in August. Please contact the family for further details.
Such a great and generous man. He was a great example of how to live a life worth living. Our uncle Tim will be missed but never forgotten. We love you and will see you again.
RIP Tim 😞
You were the first to greet me at COB before I started my first day in 2004. You were a great mentor, always willing to share advice. You were one of the good guys. May you find peace. My condolences to the family. So sorry for your loss.
I worked with Tim for many years. He was a great manager. He had a great sense of humour.
He fought his fight for many years. What a trooper.
So sorry for your loss.
I am sorry to hear of Tim’s passing. I knew him many years ago when he lived in Moose Jaw, and worked for the railway. He will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Our deepest condolences to the Unrau family… to Marcia, Darryl, Brock and Olivia. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
Our sincerest condolences to the Unrau-Ho family. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting him and Lauretta, both of whom were very kind and welcoming. Amanda, Vay, Micah, Malaki and Xander our hearts and prayers are with you during this time.
Tim as my Sr. Mgr. was a perfect man and a great human being. I admired his leadership and professionalism. Condolences to the Unrau family! Please accept my heartfelt sympathy for this unfortunate event. May everyone find peace during this time.
My deepest condolances to everyone in the family. Only 65.
