Although I came to know my uncle Robert more in the later years of his life, I met a person with a clear voice and vision. I remember one afternoon he asked me to type out a letter for him. I was amazed to see all the sentences were perfectly formed in his mind before he even spoke, every pause taken in style – a man of letters. He took time to share his experiences of growing up in Hong Kong. Memories that only sweetened my trip to the homeland. I thank him for the long journey he has taken across ocean, land and through sky. May you rest
