elevated Xq0BF It is with profound sadness that the family of Angelina Ribeiro Alexandre Gaspar announce her passing in Mississauga on Sunday, May 5th, 2024 at the age of 87. She died peacefully surrounded by her loving family.

elevated Xq0BF Angelina is predeceased by her beloved husband Jaime of 64 years.

elevated Xq0BF A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Angelina will be deeply missed by her children Jorge (Belle), Jaime (Malle), Horacio (Glenda), and Saudade (Rui). She was a cherished grandmother to Christopher (Vanessa), Nicholas (Dina), Kaitlyn, Adam (Nikki), Nicole, and Neil and a great grandmother to Karter, Avery, Joshua, Lucas, Noah, Charlie, Blake and Griffin and will forever be missed by her dear siblings, nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

elevated Xq0BF Born in Barreiros, Portugal to José Alexandre and Maria Ribeiro, Angelina was one of ten siblings who learned the value of hard work and perseverance from an early age. She married Jaime da Conceição Gaspar on April 4, 1959 and they emigrated to Canada on November 14, 1965. In Canada, Angelina aimed to foster a better future for her children, emphasizing education to them as a result of her own unfulfilled aspirations.

elevated Xq0BF Angelina’s gentle and good-humored nature, coupled with an innate ability to listen and comfort, endeared her to all who knew her. Her genuine, fair and objective nature made her a trusted source of guidance and support for all who sought her counsel.

elevated Xq0BF Angelina exemplified the true essence of authenticity, selflessness, humility, and patience, touching the lives of all who crossed paths with her. Although she gave so much, she asked for very little in return.

elevated Xq0BF Despite facing numerous health challenges with remarkable resilience, Angelina remained steadfastly uncomplaining, her strength of spirit serving as an inspiration to those around her.

elevated Xq0BF Her legacy of warmth, wisdom and selflessness will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

elevated Xq0BF For those who so desire, memorial donations can be made in memory of Angelina Gaspar to The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation in lieu of flowers.
